Six months ago I moved to a shared apartment in a beautiful old converted school in North London. I took me a while of hunting around looking at apartments until I found the one I knew I wanted. The building is surrounded by flowers and trees and sits on a quiet street with beautiful large Victorian houses, there is a local park and little coffee shops dotted around. It is the right amount of city and countryside for me.
I love everything about the room, all its original features, the herringbone wood floors and the large sash windows, where on a sunny day my room is filled with light. I have gorgeous wooden Venetian blinds which I leave open day or night because my room backs onto tall trees.
